Interviews

French for job interviews — timed answers, not a CV in translation

An interview in French is a different hour from a weekly stand-up. Someone is scoring you. You have two minutes. The story you tell in English will not land if you invent it on the call. We train the answers you will actually give — against the clock.

Book this if

There is a date, a role, or a panel that will switch to French.

  • A French-speaking employer, a mobility interview, or a mixed panel
  • You can chat, then freeze on “parlez-moi de vous”
  • You want to sound like yourself, not a textbook candidate

An interview lesson

A timed run, a stop, a tighter version, a second run. The questions they will actually ask.

  • 50 minutes, 1 on 1, live video
  • Say the interview date on WhatsApp
  • Homework: a voice note of the hardest answer, not a rewritten CV

Bring the job, not a generic “interview unit”

The posting, the company, the three questions you already dread. We write short answers you can recover when they interrupt. We time them. We cut the ramble. A perfect paragraph that overruns is still a fail.

What we do not do

We are not your recruiter. We will not invent a career. We will not sit in the room. We make the French hold under pressure. If the weekly need is the meeting after you are hired, that is a different page.

Tone

Vous, unless they clearly are not. Clear, not stiff. A salvage line when you blank: ask to rephrase, buy a second, restart. English in the first lesson is allowed if panic is the wall; French is the performance on the day.
