Conversation

Conversational French lessons that actually make you talk

Conversational French is not “just chatting.” It is a situation, a pattern, a correction, a retry. You leave able to say something you could not at the start.

These lessons are for you if

You understand more than you can say. You replay conversations in English afterwards.

  • You freeze on simple sentences you “know”
  • You translate in your head and miss the moment
  • You want fluency more than a perfect exam score — for now

Inside a conversation lesson

You talk from the first minutes. Grammar only when it unblocks a sentence you need.

  • Real prompts, not a script
  • Retry until it is yours
  • A little homework: say it again later in the week

Why conversation lessons fail elsewhere

Group conversation hours reward the loudest student. Phrasebooks reward memory, not timing. A tutor who corrects every gender will train you to stop talking.

We correct what blocks meaning or what you keep repeating. Fluency first, then polish. Silence is allowed. Then we give you the sentence and you say it.

What you practise

Calls, dinners, complaints, a story about your week, the lift conversation at work. Not a textbook dialogue called “at the railway station” unless you are actually going to a station.

Tutor match

If you learn by talking, we keep it conversational. If you want a tighter structure around the speaking, we build that. We decide on the intro.

Next step
