Can one tutor cover every subject?

The common school set, yes, as FLS. Extreme specialisation — say advanced physics in French — tell us. We will be honest.

Do you follow the Eduscol programme?

We follow what the student is actually given: the year, the teacher, the exam. That is more useful than a generic national PDF.

Subjects

French school subjects — histoire-géo, maths, SES, in French

In FLS the problem is often not “French.” It is maths in French, a text in français, a chapter of histoire-géo the class already finished. We tutor the subject as the school teaches it — the words, the method, the oral — without pretending we replaced a specialist maths teacher in English.

Language of the subject

Every discipline has a small dictionary: “expliquer / analyser / illustrer,” the way a map question is built, how a maths problem is stated. We practise that language out loud, then on the page. Copying a Wikipedia paragraph in nicer French is not the lesson.

What we are not

We are French tutors who work inside the programme. A student drowning in Terminale maths may still need a maths specialist. Say so on the intro. We will not sell a miracle in a subject we cannot honestly hold.

Français as a subject

Linear commentary, essai, oral. That is school français, not café conversation. If they also want DELF, we keep the two grids separate so the student is not doing two exams in one hour by accident.
