How to learn to speak French
You already know how to study French. The question is how to speak it. Those are different skills, and the second one needs a mouth, a listener, and retries.

How we train speaking
Real prompts. Corrections that unblock meaning. A retry. That is the lesson, most weeks.

- Beginners still speak — in short, true sentences
Input is not speaking
Listening and reading build a map. Speaking is driving. If you only do input, you get better at recognising French and worse at believing you can produce it. That belief is the freeze.
A speaking-first loop
Say something true. Get a correction you can feel. Say it again. Use it the same week. Repeat. Grammar enters when a pattern is blocking you — not as a separate hobby.

- Record a 60-second voice note between lessons
- Accept ugly sentences; polish later
Why a tutor belongs in the loop
You cannot hear your own liaison. You will not push the sentence you are avoiding. A 1 on 1 tutor is there for those two jobs. Self-talk in the shower helps. It is not enough.
